Q. What are the best local bargains?
I love Yats for cajun creole comfort food less than $6 and Fat Dan's on 54th and College for the best burger you've ever had. I gotta be honest, I don't know how much they cost. But whatever they are charging, isn't enough.
Q. As a comedian, do you ever check out the comedy clubs in town? Any favorites, and why?
ComedySportz on Mass Ave is not only great for families, but hilarious for those sans kids as well. It's an improv club, so every show is unique. Catch a late show, if you can.
Q. Where do you take friends when they’re visiting?
We try to make sure our friends get to see the best of Indy, which usually includes taking them to the Mecca of college basketball, Hinkle Fieldhouse. Any basketball game that means anything should be played at Hinkle. It will give you chills.
Q. Where do you take family members?
We spend so many days at Newfields and 100 Acres. The kids can run free, we can enjoy the outdoors, and photograph and appreciate beautiful art installations.
Q. What’s your favorite Indy hangout?
The Libertine on Mass Ave is what you want every bar to be. It's dark, it's cool, and the drinks are delicious.
Q. What should visitors to Indy absolutely not miss?
Go for a run on the Canal and into White River State Park. If you do it at the right time of day, you can experience how the sunset bounces off of the JW Marriott. It's insane.
Q. What’s your favorite summer activity in Indianapolis?
A. We always hit a Farmer's Market on Saturday morning, and then hit the Monon for some family fun time. We also love the Indianapolis Zoo, although we are never quite sure how the polar bear feels about our Indiana summers.
