In 1969, artist David K. Rubins created this bronze statue of Abraham Lincoln as he might have looked during the years he lived in Indiana. Rubins, a longtime teacher at the city's Herron School of Art, also created the bronze cherub that appears each December atop the clock at the corner of Meridian and Washington Streets.
