Valentine’s Day Dinner Ideas

Valentine’s weekend in Indy will be full and alive with people in town for the Indiana Pacers game at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, the 14th annual Indiana Art Fair at the Indiana State Museum, and live jazz at the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra - in addition to many more events throughout the city. If you’re staying downtown while in town, there are many places to celebrate a Valentine’s Day dinner with a menu that offers an experience through atmosphere, fine dining and hospitality. And if you live here like I do, you’ll find these options unique to your everyday Indy eats and worth exploring. Good luck picking just one.

The Loft at Traders Point Creamery was made for romantic dinners on the farm with everything from foie gras and osso buco to mushroom risotto and homemade doughnuts and milkshakes.

When: Friday, Feb 10-12, 14. Call for reservations.

Weber Grill has a Valentine’s Dinner of shrimp bisque, cedar planked glazed salmon, New York strip, and chocolate dipped strawberries for dessert.

When: Friday, February 10-14 for dine-in or carry out

Music & Morsels - A Valentine’s Twosome is an evening of live jazz music and fine dining at Theater on the Fort in Lawrence. Ticket sales support arts and city development.

When: Sunday, February 12 at 4 pm

The Biltwell Center is hosting Bubbles, Brides, and Bowties Sparking Canvas on Valentine's Day. Create a masterpiece with your favorite life partner and enjoy appitziers, dessert, and a bubble bar by Hoaglin Catering.

When: Tuesday, February 14

The Riviera Club might entice you to head to the west side for their five-course Valentine’s Day food experience with wine pairings and an eye-catching mention of jumbo lump crab and chorizo cake. Reservations are required and limited to 36.

When: Saturday, February 11 at 6:30 pm
