This weekend Central State University and Kentucky State will collide at the 32nd Annual Circle City Classic at Lucas Oil Stadium. More than a football game, the Classic is a joint collaboration between Indiana Black Expo, Inc. and the Indiana Sports Corporation, bringing more than 100,000 people to the city to experience the weekend. Circle City Classic Pep Rally
4 pm on Monument Circle
Kick off the Classic with a free pep rally on Monument Circle, the heart of downtown Indianapolis.
Friday Night Classic Cabaret
7 pm at the Indiana Convention Center
The Friday Night Classic Cabaret is a night of music featuring the O’Jays, Ginuwine, Vivian Green, Lyfe Jennings, and Cameo all under one roof. The doors open at 6 pm with the concert starting at 7 pm.
South Meridian Street will continue the party with Friday Night Classic Cabaret Official After-Party hosted by Ginuwine and Lyfe Jennings at Blu Lounge. Jokers Live will be hosting Friday Night Laughs with Landon Jones, Darryl Damn, Chris “Smokey” Jones, Bellie B, with special guest Mike Logan.
Circle City Classic Parade
10 am to 12 pm in downtown Indianapolis
An estimated 100,000 spectators will watch the parade downtown Indianapolis, where previous Grand Marshals have included Jerry Rice, Kelly Rowland, Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds, and Grammy Award-wining gospel recording artists Yolanda Adams. The parade includes celebrities, floats, and marching bands.
32nd Annual Circle City Classic Football Game
3 pm to 6 pm at Lucas Oil Stadium
Kentucky State University takes on Central State University play at 3 pm. Rico Love will perform the National Anthem, Yazz the Greatest will perform during the halftime, Jeezy, Rico Lobe, and Silento will perform a post-game show.
After the game, Blu Lounge is hosting the official Circle City Classic after party with DJ John Larner, DJ Cadillac G, and Dj Lemi Vice. Taps and Dolls is throwing a Classic House Party with DJ Trouble, DJ Tec!, DJ JF, DJ Marcus Wain, Hosted by MC AL B.
