I’m a self-proclaimed coffee snob. I bookmark the best local coffee shops and roasters in every city I visit – and while I start most morning with a classic drip coffee, I want something with a bit more pizazz when I travel. So, without further ado, here are my favorite pick-me-up drinks and beverages in Indianapolis.
Tiger Eye at Georgia Street Grind
Some call it a dirty chai, they call it a Tiger Eye; both are a chai tea latte with a shot of espresso. I get mine iced, and it’s my favorite chai in the city.
Golden Milk at Provider at Tinker House Events
A tad spicy, a tad sweet. This sweet turmeric milk calls my name on an afternoon when I’m coffee-ed out.
Coffee Flight at Mile Square Coffee Roaster
When you can’t quite make up your mind, go for the flight. At $10, it’s a sharable serving that pairs perfectly with a croissant from neighboring vendor Circle City Sweets.
The Notorious F.I.G. at Milktooth
The F.I.G. is a B.F.D., featuring cold brew with fig-amaro simple syrup and a shot of milk. Simply divine.
