The festival is one of the oldest festivals in the state of Indiana and one of the largest events in Speedway each year. We call ourselves the festival that’s “Tops in Food” because we pride ourselves in our famous hand-breaded cod sandwich, breaded tenderloin sandwich, savory grill items, and specialty desserts. Many of our desserts, like our pistachio cake, are secret parish recipes handed down from parishioners. We support all first responders and provide those who attend in uniform with a free meal.
Our festival also provides patrons with options to make their experience more enjoyable:
Live performances are scheduled all three nights of the festival. On Thursday night, we’ll have Scott Greeson and The Trouble with Monday Band from 7-10 pm, Friday night Endless Summer Band from 7-10 pm, and the Doo on Saturday night from 7-11 pm!
Mass on the Grass will be held on Saturday at 4 pm on the Northeast Lawn. All are welcome as we celebrate the Eucharist in a casual “come as you are” setting near the intersection of 16th and Lynhurst in Speedway. Several thousand festival goers are in attendance each year.
