As always, KVML is dedicated to using the arts and humanities to deal with life's most difficuly challenges. That's why VonnegutFest includes Reclaiming Armistice Day, focusing on how veterans can use the arts and humanities to cope with the challenges of war.

This year's Reclaiming Armistice Day will feature a Veterans Art and Resource fair in the hall of Herron School of Art + Design on IUPUI's campus.

Following the resource fair, head into the Basile Auditorium to hear Steve Inskeep, host of NPR’s Morning Edition, talk with veteran and award-winning author and poet Brian Turner about writing, war, and common decency.

Following the conversation, Brian Turner will be available to sign books!

Join us for the world’s only VonnegutFest Every year, the Kurt Vonnegut Museum and Library hosts the world’s only VonnegutFest. This Indianapolis-wide festival champions the power of the arts and humanities to better us as individuals and as a society.

As Kurt said, “Think of what a paradise this world would be if men were kind and wise.”
