The museum can host both dinners and receptions at our facility beginning at 6:30pm or later. Most events occur in the Sunburst Atrium and Mezzanine, which provides space for up to 350 guests; depending on set-up needs, and features galleries that provide entertainment for all ages. The space rents for $3,000 Sunday-Friday and $4,000 on Saturdays (plus 7% sales tax) and includes all of your basic set-up needs; tables and chairs for up to 350 guests, limited AV, parking, security, self-serve coat check, and 2 staffed galleries.
An additional event space is the Welcome Center. It can accommodate approximately 400 guests, rents for $3,000 Sunday-Friday and $4,000 on Saturdays (plus 7% sales tax) and includes two staffed galleries. Also included are all of your basic set-up needs; tables and chairs for up to 350 guests; depending on set-up needs, limited AV, parking, security and self-serve coat check.
If you are interested in having access to the entire museum the rental would be $8,500 Sunday – Friday and $10,000 on Saturday (plus 7% sales tax).
For a more intimate affair of up to 150 guests you may host your event around one of our galleries; Carousel Wishes & Dreams;Fireworks of Glass, ScienceWorks, Take Me There: China, or Dinosphere: Now You’re in Their World! An individual gallery rents for $2,000 Sunday-Friday and $3,000 on Saturdays (plus 7% sales tax) and includes tables, chairs, parking, security, limited AV, set-up, and a gallery attendant.
The Museum requires a minimum catering of $24.99/person through our exclusive caterer Sodexo.
We also offer complimentary parking in our parking garage which is located across the street from the Museum. Guests can access the Museum through our SkyWalk.
