Ball State University is an integral part of the community and economy of Muncie and Indiana. The Ball State Indianapolis Center connects the resources of our main Muncie campus with the downtown Indianapolis community. Students, faculty and alumni come together at the Ball State Indianapolis Center to interact, learn and share with each other and the community on projects that make Indiana a better place to live, work and do business. This high-tech center in downtown Indianapolis leads the way in education, research, and community outreach through a collaboration of Ball State University partnerships.

At the Ball State Indianapolis Center, you'll find:

  • live, face-to-face classes in Ball State's well-respected graduate programs and to other professional development opportunities such as Apple-certified training
  • four floors and more than 11,000 square feet of meeting space for rent
  • information about Ball State admissions, courses, and registration and upcoming conferences and special events
  • Ball State University apparel and merchandise for sale
  • innovative digital media research and technology demonstrations being conducted by Ball State faculty, staff, and students

The Center, which offers free wireless Internet access, is also home to Cafe Rene, offering gourmet coffee, sandwiches, and bakery items. It is conveniently located in the heart of the Wholesale District in downtown Indianapolis within blocks of thousands of parking spaces, dozens of restaurants, and the region's best shopping, culture, entertainment and sporting offerings.
