The Indianapolis International Airport (IND) is the first new terminal designed and opened since September 11, 2001, and the nation's first LEED-certified airport. The airport offers more than 130 departures per day [or more than 250 arrivals and departures per day, linking Indianapolis with nonstop flights to 50 destinations in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean. IND is home to gorgeous public art, dining and shopping options, and Cultural Crossroads, one of the nation's first and most comprehensive local museum stores offering merchandise and displays from eight Indianapolis cultural institutions.
Indianapolis' $1.1 billion airport was named Best Airport in North America in 2012-2017 by Airports Council International and has also been ranked number one in customer satisfaction by J.D. Power.
The airport is a short 15-minute drive from the heart of downtown Indianapolis. Once in the city, the following transportation services are available for guests: cab, limo, shuttle, and public bus.
