Airport

The Indianapolis International Airport (IND) is the first new terminal designed and opened since September 11, 2001, and the nation's first LEED-certified airport. The airport offers an average of 145 departures per day, linking Indianapolis with nonstop flights to 53 destinations in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean. IND is home to gorgeous public art, dining and shopping options, and Cultural Crossroads, one of the nation's first and most comprehensive local museum stores offering merchandise and displays from eight Indianapolis cultural institutions.

Indianapolis' $1.1 billion airport was named Best Airport in North America in 2012-2019 by Airports Council International, ranked number one in customer satisfaction by J.D. Power, and named the Best Domestic Airport by Travel + Leisure Reader's Choice Awards.

The airport is a short 15-minute drive from the heart of downtown Indianapolis. Once in the city, the following transportation services are available for guests: cab, limo, shuttle, and public bus.
