Downtown
Hyatt Place Indianapolis is located in downtown Indianapolis’ historic Wholesale District at the corner of South Pennsylvania Street and East Georgia Street, facing the main entrance of Bankers Life Fieldhouse, home of the Indiana Pacers and Indiana Fever. Georgia Street's three-block street and pedestrian walkway, located immediately adjacent to the property, connects the Indiana Convention Center, Bankers Life Fieldhouse, Circle Centre Mall, a collection of restaurants, and other attractions. Hyatt Place brings the brand’s intuitive design, casual atmosphere and practical services. Amenities include free Wi-Fi and complimentary breakfast, valued by business travelers, while providing open areas and a variety of seating where guests can unwind and connect with others. Guestrooms allow guests to relax in separate sleeping and living areas.
Eaton Fine Art curated a unique art program for the guestrooms, corridors, and public spaces throughout the entire dual-branded property. Eaton Fine Art curated 44 pieces, 11 of which were commissioned artworks, and 4 of which were done in collaboration with the Arts Council of Indianapolis Public Art for Neighborhoods Program. As Eaton Fine Art’s sixth project with HRI (ownership), the final space reflects a true collaboration between all parties involved to capitalize on the rich creative talent found in Indianapolis.
