Our mission is to support local sustainable farmers and producers while creating a gathering place for community interactions. We will align with the Slow Food International principles of good, clean, and fair food for all. A variety of food options is available for customers, including organic produce, grass fed meats, locally roasted coffee, artisan cheeses, local honey, and more. Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) will also be accepted at this market.
Garfield Park Farmers Market was formed by local food advocates out of a need for better food access. With the support of Indy Parks & Recreation, Garfield Park Neighbors Association, South Circle Farm and Big Car Collaborative, Garfield Park neighbors Julia Woody and Ashley Brooks have spearheaded this initiative.
