Easter Egg Hunt

Indianapolis Motor Speedway Kids Club Easter Egg Hunt

April 15, 9 am - 12 pm

Kids 12 years and under are invited to a free egg hunt at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Breakfast will be provided for Kids Club members (membership is $25) but all other events and activities are open to the public. In the past, attendees have played games and enjoyed bounce houses before the egg hunt. Save time and sign the waiver in advance. Pro tip: enter at gate 2 off of 16th Street. 


Hop to the Prop Indianapolis Propylaeum Easter Egg Hunt

April 15, 11:30 am - 12 pm

Children age 10 and under are invited to take part in a free egg hunt at the Propylaeum at exactly 11:30 am. Be sure to register for one of the three age groups for egg hunting. Please bring your own Easter basket. Register here.


Presidential Egg Roll at Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site

April 15, 9 am - 10:30 am

The Egg Roll at the White House is one of the most well known Easter events in the United States. Take part in Indiana’s only egg roll at the President Harrison. Children will roll their eggs across the lawn. The Easter Bunny will be on site to meet with kids and cheer them on. The Humane Society of Indianapolis will also be there with cuddly animals for adoption. During your visit, check out the beautiful home and see the Presidential Pets exhibit. This event is free for parents and their children but space is limited. Pre-registration is required.


Easter on the Prairie at Conner Prairie

April 15, 2 pm + activities all day

Easter egg hunts begin on the Prairie at 2 pm and are staggered by age. Children ages 2-12 are invited to collect candy-filled Easter eggs. Throughout the day, children can help with springtime activities throughout the settlements; see the baby animals, sort seeds at the Gregorys, dye Easter eggs at the Zimmermans and decorate bonnets at the Campbells. All activities are included in the price of admission, members participate for free. 


Easter Weekend at the Indianapolis Zoo

April 15 and 16, 9 am - 5 pm

Easter-themed activities will take place all weekend long. There's no basket required for the wild egg hunt at the Zoo. Search everywhere for the 19 hidden zoo-themed egg pictures. If you find 10 of them, you'll receive a special price from the gift shop. Don't miss springtime favorites, Zoo Babies. Watch as some of the animals receive special egg shaped treats, Easter baskets, and decor. Stop by Cafe on the Commons 11 am - 2 pm for a butterfly craft and an Easter-themed photo opp. An Easter treat will be available for purchase.


Indianapolis Cultural Trail Egg-Stravaganza 

April 15, 10 am - 1 pm

5,000 eggs will be hidden along the Cultural Trail. There are three starting points throughout the trail:
  • Fletcher Place - Chilly Water Brewery (719 Virginia Ave)
  • Chatham Arch/Mass Ave - IPS
  • School #2 (725 N. New Jersey)
  • North/Canal - Indianapolis Cultural Trail HQ (132 W Walnut St).
