Tonight's show will feature blues.
The Kruse Family Stardust Terrace at the History Center is the place to be on Thursday nights in downtown Indianapolis. The 2019 Concerts on the Canal series features a spectacular lineup of entertainers.
Visitors are welcome to bring their own food and nonalcoholic beverages. The History Center's Stardust Terrace Café, outdoor grill and cash bar, operated by Hoaglin Catering, opens at 5 pm. All alcohol must be purchased and consumed on site.
In addition, IHS encourages guests to take full advantage of free admission and extended hours at the History Center on concert Thursdays, from 10 am-8 pm, and on July 4, from 10 am-5 pm. Eli Lilly Hall will feature a rotating schedule of special exhibits, while the Indiana Experience will showcase IHS’s newest offering, You Are There 1939: Exploring Angel Mounds. The exhibit allows guests to dig into the state’s past by traveling back in time to an archaeological dig in Southern Indiana.
Cost: Free seating is available on the grassy area along the Canal Walk. In addition, guests can purchase seating on the History Center's Kruse Family Stardust Terrace in tables of eight ($60/$45 IHS members) or tables of four ($50/$35 IHS members). Single seats are available at the community table ($12/$10 IHS members). The Terrace is a smoke-free and pet-free zone.
