As kids, both Sarah Fisher and her husband, Andy O'Gara, dreamed of competing on the biggest stage in the world-wide motorsports at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. They both are fortunate to have had that opportunity. They wanted to share that passion with the community through a state-of-the-art indoor karting facility right here in the heart of Speedway, Indiana.
But in addition to the adrenaline-filled karting experience, they wanted to provide something for the whole family. That's where 1911 Grill comes in located in the heart of Speedway, Indiana, 10 minutes from Downtown Indianapolis and just blocks from the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
With their IndyCar history, it should come as no surprise that the on-site 1911 Grill serves guests with a refined American cuisine under the historical Indianapolis 500 theme. It is their goal to ensure that all guests, whether they are dining or karting, leave with a new energy for racing and enjoy a family culture that has been the key to success in all their affiliations.
The restaurant includes two levels of family dining and bar seating space, both have spectacular views of the karting center action! Dine outside when weather allows or take advantage of one of two, fully-enclosed patios to be used year round and enjoy a fireplace, decorative lighting, and a truly open air ambiance.
The upstairs of 1911 Grill features the newest facility addition with four mini-bowling lanes and an improved game room. It's perfect for anyone looking for a family-friendly activity or a night out with friends.
The warm, welcoming Irish pub-style interior welcomes guests from Speedway Indoor Karting, but is also happy to entertain anyone who enjoys the 500 memorabilia.
