INDIANAPOLIS 500 MILE RACE

They don’t call it the Greatest Spectacle in Racing for nothing. Sunday's 110th running at Indianapolis Motor Speedway is the largest single-day sporting event in the world and promises roaring engines, a talented international roster of highly competitive drivers, and a weekend you'll never forget. See defending champ Alex Palou, Pato O'Ward, Josef Newgarden, David Malukas, four-time winner Helio Castroneves, Scott Dixon, Katherine Legge, and many more. Indiana Fever superstar Caitlin Clark is grand marshal, Indiana University Head Football Coach Curt Cignetti will lead the field to green in the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1X Pace Car, Academy Award-Winning actor Brendan Fraser will be the honorary starter, and Grammy nominee Jordin Sparks will perform the national anthem. If that doesn't get you revved up, nothing will. Tickets are $60 and up.

BIKE TO THE 500

Looking for a fun, different way to experience Race Day? This police-escorted cycling trip takes fans from The AMP @ 16 Tech to the track Sunday traveling a total of five miles. Gather before the ride for coffee, snacks, breakfast food, and hydration from The AMP vendors. Choose from two ride times to bypass most of the traffic congestion and long waits for parking as you roll right up to the entrances. Don't have a bike? Rent standard or e-bikes through Pacers Bikeshare. Tickets are $15 and up.

MILLER LITE CARB DAY AND CONCERT

This week is all about tradition and one of the best loved is Friday's final practice day at Indianapolis Motor Speedway including the Pit Stop Challenge, the second running of the bunbelievable Oscar Mayer Wienie 500, and a massive live show from Counting Crows and Switchfoot. Carb Day runs at full throttle and starts race weekend in high gear. Tickets are $50 and up.

LUCAS OIL 500 FESTIVAL PARADE

This year's parade theme, Racing Through History, tips its helmet to the incredible heritage of Indy's largest street party. It's the floats, marching bands, giant balloons, dancers, and celebrities that elevate this event. Indiana Pacers Pascal Siakam and Andrew Nembhard are the grand marshals, Loren Allred will sing the National Anthem and headline opening ceremonies, an Ephraim Owens will join her. If you're downtown Saturday, you can be a part of the celebration. Tickets are $27 and up.

INDY 500 SNAKE PIT PRESENTED BY COORS LIGHT

This massive EDM-fueled party happens in the infield during the race: part music festival, part tailgate, part giant dance party. While today's Snake Pit differs a bit from the Snake Pit legends of old, it's still one of the wildest traditions tied to the race. Four-time Super Bowl champion and FOX NFL studio analyst Rob Gronkowski serves as grand marshal and hosts Grammy Award-winning DJ/producer Zedd as the headliner. Also performing are Crankdat, Wooli, it’s murph and Wax Motif. Tickets are $85 and up.
